And the fact that this has now been upgraded to a "controversy" boggles my mind.

It makes me a little sad that this is going to be the tin can people beat on for the next few years when there are many more relevant issues in the gaming industry.

That terrible moment when a Titan punches your Titan's face into your face.

I agree, to a point - Borderlands can get tiresome, and a more subdued game in the same mode could be welcome. Though it'd need to put something in place of Borderlands' gags and meta humor, more than just a bunch of bland stuff about saving the universe and "I have a bad feeling about this."

Well I didn't really like the 13 year old sensibility of Borderlands. I would welcome a more serious sci-fi universe that isn't full of tired stereotypes and poop and fart jokes.

Destiny doesn't seem to have much personality - it's very clean and shiny, and the music is lovely, but it's also pretty sterile, especially when compared with its most obvious influence, Borderlands.

They had a wonderful presentation. Overall, I think all the companies delivered, and there was no decisive winner in this one. We all won.

I know a few guys who could use this deal.

The problem with the boxart is that HRH Emperor Admiral Patrick Stewart is supposed to be bald.

Wow.... Just watching that gameplay video makes it look so much like your everyday MMO instead of the Elder Scrolls I've come to really enjoy. Yeesh. First impressions and all.

Some people roll their eyes (or grunt or sigh) when they're reminded of how many studios Ubisoft uses to make their massive Assassin's Creed games, but as someone who likes each year's installment, I just find it interesting.

Ha. I'm guessing, if you're an EVE player, you almost come to expect that things like this can happen to you. Also, like someone else noted, it's hard not to be taken aback by the dedication, even if it might also seem a tad creepy.

Honestly, I'd be creeped out as fuck if someone did stalk me with this much dedication in an MMO. But I'd also respect their level of dedication as well.

Wow, he's not even mad
