What makes this more useless than playing any other game? (Outside of being a super pro at popular eSports games that make you a millionaire, of course)?

“Slavery is far too real and far too painful, and we still see the manifestations of it today as a country for me to ever view that as a form of entertainment.”

All that term limits do is kill off a reservoir of experience and eliminate the few “good eggs” in Congress.

You can grow and make all your own food too. Does that make buying food a waste of money?

So you’re saying that blizzard should have set up a friends on demand service?

You know what? YOU’RE sad and pathetic!!

Hey commenters of this thread.

Allow me to explain:

The reason this was banned now was because with Amonkhet entering Standard, the deck got even better tools to protect the combo. This isn’t “Wizards hates combos”, this is “obvious tier 1 deck that pushes everything else out of the format”.

There are plenty of janky combos. A 2 card turn 4 combo is anything but jank.

> “Playtonic celebrates diversity, yet did the opposite by removing the lines of someone who made a personal remark. This is what diversity means, it’s not just a racial thing.”

...Dear fucking Christ, you got this backwards.

No, that’s not what diversity means. That’s not what diversity means at all. That’s like saying

This is what diversity means, it’s not just a racial thing.

So weird that someone who ‘celebrates diversity’ might not want to do business with someone who said ‘if they assimilated they would enter the gene pool eventually’.

There’s a difference when the views are of white supremacy.

This statement implies willful ignorance--or a desire to cover for hateful statements made by others because, “It’s on Twitter, it’s not serious, lulz.”

At the moment, here in the US, we have a POTUS who tweets more often than he engages with the public or the press—and his tweets have the weight of his office behind

Because your reasons for canceling the game has more to do with the removal of a known white supremacist. You could have given any other reason and it would be less racist (but then why would you even mention it on this thread) but the reason you gave is because they removed a racist.

Backlash against your vile racist views is not a witch-hunt.

“We think JonTron might be racist so we’re going to get him!” -Witch Hunt.
“Wow, listen to all that racist shit JonTron said, I can’t support that.” -A normal reasoned response.

And I don’t want to hear a voice that reminds me that the actor thinks my race is inherently violent and criminal.

Ok I’ll bite: Why do you care? I mean, I used to be a fan of his too but after I found out what his beliefs are I just don’t respect him anymore. Move on and find some other internet reviewers who aren’t assholes. Might I suggest the folks at Channel Awesome?

Counter-point: No it isn’t. This is a reasonable repercussion.
