While I kind of agree with you - progress is indeed made only on the backs of those who fail - this is a little too much failure all at once.

No, i agree. While this movie looks okay to me, ive always felt the bourne series was absolutely ruined with ,quick cut, fight scenes. Nausiating and NO CLUE whats going on. So, ya. Agree with ya!

Initially I thought this was a good idea until seeing the trailer and then it dawned on me why action movies look so cool and even the most uncoordinated can look like an expert thus suspending or link with reality...camera cuts.

There’s nothing wrong with renting in many situations - especially given what’s happened with the economy over the last decade.

I dunno, it depends on where it’s playing. The quality of the Theater should play into your decision. Also, are you buying tickets from the box office, or third party? So many questions really, there's no good way to answer this based on the information you've presented.
