I mean, that’s how movie adaptations work. They’re their own thing, not part of the thing they’re adapted from. The Warcraft movie isn’t Warcraft canon anymore than the Harry Potter movies are Harry Potter canon or Lord of the Rings is LotR canon. This isn’t unusual at all.

To be fair, that’s not even the same game that this movie is based on.

You’ve got it backwards, Good/Evil is their intentions, Law/Chaos is their methods. A corrupt politician or tyrannical king would be Lawful Evil, for example. A Lawful Neutral character would be more likely to kill a child because the law says they must. A Lawful Good character may find a conflict between the law and
