You might like Steven Brust’s To Reign in Hell. It’s a retelling of the revolt in Heaven through a fantasy lens, and all of the angels (including God) are totally relatable and pretty reasonable. Makes the conflict super engaging and wrenching. There’s, like, one guy who’s a giant dick, that’s it.

The cutscenes are extremely well done. Good writing, good animation, even by today’s standards. Particularly love the Spider-Man/Wolverine banter.
