But what about the Native Americans that are offended by it?

I’m not, but I’m offended by people trying to discount their feelings on the situation.

But no one’s trying to silence Rowling, just look at her writing from that critical perspective.

I’m not sure how pointing out that some people are offended equates to saying they’re all offended...

Rowling herself has described Harry Potter as being “reality with a twist.”

That’s because that’s what you really really want to hear.

That’s what the genre is. That’s clearly what she’s attempting to do. A huge part of Harry Potter is that it ostensibly takes place in our world, behind a veil.

Because her whole goal is to tie it into nonfiction events.

“As someone completely removed from the context of the issue, I see nothing wrong with it.”

You dropped this.

Or she tried to move on, realized that no one really cares about anything she does that isn’t Harry Potter, and is returning to that well until it’s dry.

It’s the genre of secret history, where your stories slot into the gaps of real history. In order for that to work, you have to get the real history correct.

So stupid and trite after all of her wonderful names and descriptions in Potter.

Is Kanan 4 feet tall?

I know he’s tall, and we get a much better portrait of that in this picture.

Even still, that would require Kanan to be a dwarf.

Is it just me, or do the proportions look way off in this image? Vader looks a good three or four feet taller than Kanan.

Aqua the nou, sure, but you’re forgetting that aqua is also a prefix, which is how it’s being used here. So in both cases, Aquaman and Aguaman, it still means Water Man. Although I guess if you wanted to commit to the second one he’d be Aguahombre.

Sure, we’ll all just pretend that we can make out anything halfway comprehensible in the background of that image.
