I don’t see what Sherlock being written by a white man has anything to do with it.
I don’t see what Sherlock being written by a white man has anything to do with it.
Why not?
But any adaptations of it that are made are recent creations.
I’d rather have this guy.
Because the games are largely set in a historical setting. Are you high? My definition aren’t varied. I’ve literally provided two for two different terms. The word historical, and the genre of historical fiction, which fits the definition of the word historical. And the past isn’t entirely fictional. It’s based on the…
Cool, but we aren’t in Western storytelling’s history, we’re in Western storytelling’s present.
Alternate history and historical fantasy are subgenres of historical fiction. So things that belong to those also belong to the genre of historical fiction.
ET was set in the present when it was made. That present happens to now be the past. And I never said it changed history. But putting made up things in historical settings definitely makes them historical. You even just described it as historical. I’ve provided several definitions that back mine up, you just keep…
Holy shit, it’s Dana from the Goldbergs. Well that’s just weird.

And yet they’re still set in historical settings. They are “concerning history; concerning past events.” They may not be historically accurate, but they are most definitely historical. I’m not sure how you see an entire franchise which is set at least 90% in the past as being a “tenuous link” to being historical.
Time to post this again.
So you’re just going to write off the entire genre of historical fiction?
They’re historically set. That’s why it’s slashed with sci-fi. It’s the genre of the video games.
Seems pretty unlikely it’s her.
It’s much more likely a fake name or a new character.
