Actually, I was kinda disappointed in the Wii. Maybe it's not for technical reasons, but I wouldn't go as far as to discount the possibility.

Idea Factory actually makes good visual novels.

Sounds like the guy was a real sportsman. Need more like him in eSports. Maybe he can do Starcraft after Baseball?

Bayonetta on the PS3 being the exception, I pretty much agree.

I am kinda concerned about whether the Wii U will be able to hold a candle to the next generation stuff coming out, though. The mystery is tantalizing :)

Blast processing called. It wants you to stop having fun with your SNES.

I'd wager there's too much infrastructure in place for that to happen. The next consoles will be closer to the PC than this gen, so you'll see a lot more ports if nothing else. And I'd say you'll still find all those neato indie games on the PC first because of the ridiculous endeavour it is to get anything onto a

I can imagine, luckily I'm immune, but it happens easier than you'd think.

The first hurdles have always been the technical ones. Game controls are one of those, and they're very much unexplored. Someone has to do it. Techniques are very important to art, and this is one of them. I don't see how you could not compare it to what film and art pioneers are doing. It's the exact same thing.

You have no idea how movies developed, do you? Or literature. Or any other form of art.

I admit to not getting the Turtles one. It's campy and silly, but isn't that because it's... the Turtles?

Armourcrash; Helmethuthut; Eggscramble; Scrimmagerun, Smashandgrab; Linehunt; Defenders of the magic leather buttplug

America is not the world population, you silly people and your silly handball game.

"trying to justify"... wut? I know people on the internet are stupid, but sometimes it still takes me unawares.

It is. Even the stupidest Japanese people do it.

Learning Japanese. The thing is region free, you don't have to laboriously import, and there's RPGs, man, RPGs! This is freakin heaven! And you have all that PSP and PS1 backlog of Japanese games to go through as well.

    I would buy that.

Just because a game has pixel graphics doesn't make the art style 8-bit or retro or something that isn't unique. I say this game definitely has a special look.

Ah, I see, you don't get their persistent design philosophy.

I don't know, you might be right about some specific other games, but I find this one beautiful. If you're referring to "realistic" graphics, those need quite the moolah to produce.
