Couldn't have put it better myself. I still play it from time to time too, but it'll never be what I wanted and that I knew Maxis (back then) could do. I'll never has as much time devoted to it as I did with an older game like Sim City 4, which I still play all the time, or that my wife does with the Sims 2.
