I’ve grown weary of the RCR shtick, as well, but it’s the formula that works for them. I can all but guarantee that a concise review without the forced lowbrow humor would not get nearly as many views.

So I've been teaching at the college level for 6 years now, and I've given up. If students want to "slyly" check their cellphones, hey, it's their (parent's) money.
There is almost always a quorum of students who are interested enough for me to have a pretty good discussion.
