Dude was driving a green second-gen Taurus SHO with horrendous rod knock. Saddest sound I ever heard.
The ONLY time I have ever done a double-take at a Saturn was an Aura XR.
More like Black Dog 2.
I was pleasantly surprised by this engine in the government fleet Grand Caravan I drove a few months ago. Pretty punchy, and an impressive base engine in a vehicle that starts at $21k.
All I heard was “that original knob.” I miss Richames Maymond and Theremy Stargson...
What’s the deal with the Z4’s sales slump? Their racers seem fantastically successful, but I’ve heard nary a peep from the autojourno community regarding the current-gen cars. Do they suck that bad? Getting stonewalled for no M version? What gives? I still want a 1st gen Z4M coupe even more than a clownshoe, I’ll…
He ordered light sauce again yesterday and received a bowl of it on the side. Sounds reasonable to me at this point.
Today he ordered from the same place again, “very little sauce.” His sesame chicken was perfectly as ordered, a light toss in the sauce for that. His chicken and broccoli, though? Bone dry, just steamed broccoli and chicken with NO sauce or seasoning whatsoever. I told him, “Stop disturbing the sauce Feng Shui of your…
Hydrostatics in general are far too inefficient for over-the-road use. They’re great at changing direction and are continuously variable over their limited range of speed, which is their great advantage in dozers, loaders, and lawnmowers (just move the spool valve and presto, you’re in a ‘lower gear’ or backing up!)…
Yesterday my coworker ordered Chinese sesame chicken, “half sauce.” Predictably, the container was damn near overflowing with sauce when he opened it in the office. I laughed and joked that “they literally filled the container halfway with sauce then added chicken” even though I just thought they ignored his request.…
Just did mine on my 2009 WRX for the first time in 90 minutes. The hardest thing was making sure the boots went back on properly. I don't understand why people hate doing this so much. It's way better than swapping a downpipe.
Seeing the MKZ so far up the list was surprising.
I can only think if this whenever I hear the name.
Gawddamn is that carpet ugly.
Holy fuck, really? Man, the Journal of Transport Geography must have blown their whole research budget on that earth-shaking conclusion, what with all that money spent on Young MC CDs and massive amounts of electrodes in chimp brains.
In an odd twist of fate, Honda probably has more of the necessary pieces and consumer demand to build a true successor to the Honda CRX than it did roughly a decade ago when the CR-Z was being designed. A downsized, turbo'd, de-hybridized CR-Z is just the car to prove Honda can still make more than mainstream boxes.
I bought one in 2009, and even non-subaristas actually compliment its looks. Would buy another, but maybe the next generation, when mine starts to get geriatric.
My ingestion turns on by itself all the time. It's either hit the gym or buy new pants at this point.
