@Illun: I agree.
@Illun: I agree.
I'd say I'm pretty safe where I'm located in Northern Virginia. It's unlikely I'll lose my house's water supply, and I've never had trouble with anything else.
I think this is a nice happy medium. She has to be prettier than described in the books, but still has to look like she can handle herself in the Games.
I haven't completely read BR, but I've read the HG Trilogy, so someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I would say HG focuses more on the worldbuilding and post-apoc genre, as well as the oppressive government causing this, rather than the complete bloodshed of the games (like BR does). There's still plenty of that, and…
Once Upon a Time sounds like a very cool concept (and it'll be neat to see Robert Carlyle in another role!), but a lot of the acting in that trailer didn't seem too good and might turn me off after the pilot episode.
Not much footage here, heh.
I stopped watching after episode 2, but then later was recommended Children of Earth, and it was the best thing I watched all of last summer (despite the release of Inception and the Doctor Who series 5 finale—it was that good).
Great episode.
I just wish more vocal fans would be sensible. SGU was having its struggles, so a business decision was made. As much as I would have loved for more support to be put to a sci-fi show by the sci-fi network, I understand their cancellation reasons.
The next stage is including shows not offered on Netflix, just as a "what series should I watch next?" thing.
For David Tennant being the only reason I'm interested in this movie, he sure seems to be absent...
Sounds neat, as long as there's still mystical gadget use from WH12.
Ha ha, what.
As I said on the ODeck: It really was the most perfect, heartbreaking ending for a series that knew it was on the verge of being canceled, yet was determined to go down without admitting defeat.
I'm going to agree with citing money-usage. There are only a handful of movies I am going to pay to see this summer, and Thor wasn't one of them.
Eh, looks too predictable for me to want to see it in theaters.
Yes indeed, thanks! I'd love to do that with my own apartment...
Does anyone remember the video about an Asian apartment where the person who lived there made a few sliding walls that were composed of kitchen gear, bedding, and living room stuff?
I especially enjoyed this episode. Not quite a space battle, but plenty of scenes in space with almost battles, and using the Stargate (for a show called Stargate, they really should use it more). Plus exploring the world was pretty interesting.
While I, personally, greatly enjoyed the nature of these first two episodes, I do worry about the show keeping this direction of storytelling. It certainly has become darker in some senses, but it always ends on a high note.
