Are there any mobile games put out by major developers/publishers that *don’t* have microtransactions? The only ones I can think of are some Square-Enix ports, and even then people complain because they cost more than 99 cents.

Being the son-in-law of two incredibly successful tax accountants: that’s elected overtime, assuming they own their own practice; if they’re working for a firm, even then, that overtime is entirely seasonal, and does not generally include weekends as well as a crunch workweek.

You’re not a bad person for wanting to have a good time. You might be a bad person for being fully cognizant of injustice and going “LA LA LA, I can’t hear you, this is a fun game and nothing else matters, LA LA LA.” Enjoy the game AND be aware of the ills perpetuated to create it.

Kirk, this is easily the best game review I’ve ever read, but also the best writing of any kind that I’ve read on this website. I enjoyed your creative narrative prose over the the technical trappings of FPS and otherdata.”

Maybe I am the minority but I prefer women who don’t like makeup. The excuse that makeup helps build confidence is a lie in every way imaginable.

You know, this is a horseshit comment, and while your intentions are no doubt good, you appear to have forgotten where you’re aiming. This is Kotaku. We have our faults, but pulling punches ain’t one of them.

Fuck games and fuck gamers. It’s absolutely not worth it.

In the time B.T (the B is for Before, the T you can figure out), this article would have had the same headline but been about how Johnny Depp demands all phones in his hotel room be medically sterilised before he checks in, and Rowling tweeted that this is actually a good idea because she has come to believe you can

“LUNA IS PANSEXUAL.”

Then what does the Hogwarts Express run on, Rowling? Burning house elves? Oh my god, is it burning house elves?

Man doesn’t go out much.

Man only talks to other white men who don’t go outside much.

Men agree on almost everything because they were raised in a culture where men get away with oppressing and abusing women and women are victims of this who have few ways of making this illegal activity punishable and talked about by

Rowling claims to have been influenced by Indonesian mythology, but she’s fucking named her single East Asian character “Cho Chang.” She’s so notorious about not doing the research that she created a “Magical Congress of the United States of America” and placed it a full hundred years before there WERE states in

I typically play every Assassin’s Creed game that comes out but I am skipping this one. Not because I don’t think it will be good/interesting, but because Red Dead comes out at the end of the month and there is no way I beat Odyssey before that.

Anyone find this kind of silly given the context of murdering hundreds of people in a death game built around the same style of another game on the same engine which was built on the story of japanese school children mudering each other that was stolen by a random white lady for a popular book then movie series?

It’s about historical accuracy” is the new “it’s about ethics in game journalism”?
