Dude, your reading comprehension needs some serious work. He meant exactly that, reviewers gave the game too much slack, gave it a break, weren’t harsh enough on it. Get it? He’s saying it deserved flak...but got slack...

On a side note, this reminds me of the comic weighing the merits of using Superman as a source of clean energy:

Half of this article is spoiler warnings.

See, I disagree. I was a newcomer to Bethesda games with Skyrim and I liked the system a lot. I tried to go back and play Oblivion and Fallout 3 and just couldn’t get into either of them, largely because the damn levelling system was too complicated and I didn’t know what any of the skills did or whether they’d be

I hated the exclusion of stats in TES5, but I think the exclusion of skills in this game is a really good idea! I hated not being able to hack a computer simply because my “science” skill was too low (which is all that skill did aside from some extra dialogue choices).

The backlash is coming across as “If we’re not being treated well, neither should they!” which I don’t support. These VA’s have every reason to demand better treatment. If the devs and other talent think they deserve even better, then by all means, they should organize and push for that.

“I think one of the things that we won’t be looking to do very soon is World of Dancing Unicorns.”

Depending on your view of Christianity the brain washing actually fits in to the metaphor very nicely.

I traded in my copy today after finding out that I now owned a retail disc copy of a playable demo. Having the vast majority of content locked behind a $40 paywall on a game I already paid $100 for ($60 at release, plus both DLC) really made me completely lose all interest in this game.

As an Xbox player I feel cheated by the playstation exclusives. It feels like content I’ve purchased has been held back. Maybe some people just wanted to play the content they paid for but never received, and have no interest in supporting these business practices going forward. I bought TTK, but I can honestly say

I think it means their deal with Sony prevents them from even acknowledging the Xbox versions exist.

I refuse to be intimidated by an enemy that can be defeated with a pair of mirrored sunglasses and a sledgehammer.

I was just thinking that the devs should have made a licensing deal with Dr. Who.

I don’t think anyone will get your obscure reference.

My first thoughts exactly.

A quick peek into the OP’s posting history points very heavily to an MO of posting, “Game is garbage!” or something to that effect on every post about a popular game and/or talking about how great Warcraft III is.

The Taken King? More like... The Taken Content.

What is your point? If you really wanted to avoid spoilers you WOULDN’T BE VISITING A GAMING SITE AROUND / AFTER THE RELEASE OF A SURE TO BE POPULAR GAME THAT WILL BE HEAVILY REPORTED ON.
