Very true, what was I thinking.

because...?

Seriously. For every video out there of their systems actually working (are there any? I’ve never actually seen one...) there are dozens of videos of failure.

Like all keyboard automotive experts who know everything in the world and yet have not even laid eyes on an actual ND yet, I both lack the funds and actual desire to do so :-P

Obligatory: needs moar poweeeeerrrrr!

Also have it pre-loaded with Torque and spliced into the OBD lines!

Yeah, I was wondering that too. How does one have 20+ minutes to remove something off of a modern car with all the alarm systems if you even bump it the wrong way?

Manufacturers need to implement an eye tracker system in the cars, where if the driver is not looking out at the road, or looks away for longer than 2 seconds (change volume/radio station), the car explodes (or maybe just a loud beep goes off or hazards automatically turn on)

Pretty sure that’s a lambo

No, because an electric motor has one moving part as opposed to the dozens in an IC. They started real simple with the drivetrain, and then went way way off track with the rest of the car.

Doesn’t sound like the event itself was cancelled, just that LR didn’t partake. Of course I could be wrong, and they actually did cancel it all so as not to destroy the trails.

Hence why I said “at some point.” They started with a dirt simple engine and tranny, then complicated the crap out of every single other thing on the car. It’s cool stuff, don’t get me wrong, but it’s prone to massive amounts of little things going wrong due to the sheer complexity of the systems.

There’s the old engineering adage of

When it’s sitting on an entirely new platform from the previous gen, then yes: new

Clearly referring to the back seats.

Crossing your arms can’t be helped when the car has a crap steering ratio. The bigger no-no is removing/re-positioning your hands on the wheel mid corner, so he did quite well.

I’m actually extremely curious about this as well. Though I doubt it’d be a quick and violent one, as that would basically involve the use of WMDs of one kind or another; something I’m not sure any large economic power is willing to do out of fear of retaliation. The very likely scenario is a massive cold war type

I think it’s partly due to the camera angle that it seemed a bit underwhelming. I’m sure if there was in car footage from one of said porsches, that ‘egg would fly by it like it was standing still once it caught up to it after the launch.

I can honestly say this is the first camaro I’m going to go at least test drive (and likely end up trading in the twin for. SS of course... and if budget allows)
