"I did not know I could do that."
"I did not know I could do that."
'cause likely emissions and safety standards are very different.
A tip; move to Michigan, somewhere around a 60 mile radius from Detroit. 95% of every engineering job I saw/was offered was in the auto industry. Now I manage developing transfer cases for quite a few automakers :-)
This looks like a sea of scratchy plastic. I hope for their sake I am wrong.
Came here to post this, left happy.
I agree that they are not necessary... in some parts of the world. Other parts, very necessary. Some regions of countries mandate by law that you must have winter tires between certain months. And it's not due to snow not getting plowed necessarily, it also has to do with the extreme cold temperatures that can leave…
Talking about dry/wet-from-slush pavement traction.
You clearly don't understand how tires work, and how the different rubber compounds matter. Long story short, winter tire rubber stays more pliable at lower temperatures. Softer rubber grips better than harder rubber.
For a second, I was confused why you put a picture of a Camry up. WTF Subaru, I used to love you!

Yes, along with all those tiny LEGO blocks too. I wish the US would lift the ban on LEGOs!
Seriously. I actually hadn't paid much thought to that before, but how the hell do you scratch an itch on your face in that thing??
Not to mention the high amount of time cops sit idling with their radios+laptop+radars on would drain that battery mighty fast.
Ooo I'd forgotten entirely about that. Hopefully that works out well! I love the idea of joint venture sports cars, done properly. Where one company has a few weaknesses, find another company that excels there and combine to make an all around strong performer.
I think that's more due to the high costs of the technology currently. Pretty sure Musk wants to be able to build a cheaper Tesla for the masses, in which case combined with better batteries could make it fairly mainstream.
Wrong warning? Like, "Warning, you accidentally bought a Saturn. Please be advised."?
Agreed. Put that money to good use for the customer, and not in the big shot's pockets!
I'm assuming it'll be able to capture elevation changes as well??? This may make me actually switch from Forza for this generation.
