I mean I’m not gonna lie, I’ve been reallllly tempted to pick up the S. Everytime I go to Costco they have a bunch of them. I would prefer to have a PS5, but if the scarcity continues by the time Alan Wake 2 comes out then I will probably be jumping into the xbox ecosystem.

The Costco near me consistently has the Series S in stock and it’s honestly been super tempting. Especially as someone who cannot find a PS5. But at the same time, I’m in no major rush to own one of these things.

yeah I’m right here with you. I picked up Beyond Light on sale this past fall and played through the season ( got the title too), and I absolutely enjoyed the story beats with Savathun. I do want to find out what happens and see the new patrol space etc, but I also don’t want to have to deal with some of the typical

yeah for real.

Gaming companies are getting really good at making sure I don’t buy their games anymore. It’s like they’re daring me to just take my money elsewhere.

yeah that’s cool and all, but you can ride ze shoopuf?

Cyber shadow looks interesting. Kinda reminds me of the NES game Shadow of the Ninja / Ninja Gaiden.

oh cool I didn’t know that! ( never got around to playing them)

Little big planet was the biggest bummer for me. (I still have the PS4 version) but I loved using it on the vita. Logging in and just playing the latest community levels. Most were bad, but there was something really fun to me about looking at the level to see what the creator’s vision for it was. That made the jank

w00t!!

I feel like omitting Yakuza games here is a big thing. They have so many games in the games you can play. Virtual On, Virtua Fighter etc. And don’t forget Timesplitters 2 where you could collect cartridges of games to play.

nah, it was bad. Taking the games in the series and then just saying “oh JK all the previous games, and this one are just a MMO” was a stupid idea. For me personally it just ruined it all. I’m glad you still are cool with it, but it did me in on the series. I still enjoyed my time with the previous games, but that

yeah I mean for me I really loved the whole aesthetic of high technology in lower tech planets, and these guys fighting the invading forces...but then it was just like why? Why did you do this.

this also ruined the series for me. I love the idea of the games but I just cannot get past that and it still was probably one of the worst twists ever in a game. It made me so stupidly angry at the time.

I’m with you. I’ll take a well thought out single player game with awesome moment to moment things over open world. Everything is just about open world these days anyway and I’m getting tired of it.

It’s even worse now from what I hear. A friend of mine went through the process with a label who was interested in him and now it seems they actually won’t pay you anything. No advance or whatever until after you go through a discovery process and can prove how many streams you can get. They seem to be all about the

I also loved Gremlins 2 more then I should have. I saw it in elementary school and thought it was fantastic. It still rules.

That’s sort of how I’m playing it. Just a little at a time in short bursts. I’ll hop on and generally do one thing, be it fishing, or fossil hunting or just wandering around to do some crafting. It feels more relaxing this way ( which I Assume is what was originally intended)

w00t! I just got a switch not that long ago so I’m excited as I’m just kind of starting this game. This is my first full blown AC game. I blame Pocket Camp for being the gateway drug to this lol

Maybe I missed it but I assume these will be PC games? Or will there be some other platform they are bringing them to?
