That’s fair. I’ve talked to a few people who have also marathoned the game and they told me about the Modern day segments. I won’t say anything about them to avoid spoilers, but let’s just say they are definitely just kicking the can down the road with it and not really doing much it seems.

Great review. I was on the fence about if I needed to get this right away but I think I will wait a little while now. I love the series but if it’s just AC The RPG with not too much modern day going on I’ll hold off for a sale or deal which I’m sure won’t be far away (yay holidays). Thanks for posting the review

Absolutely loved this game. It was very good with the characters but also had that fun arcade style action that sega does so well. I miss those types of sega games. They were always so much fun. (Partially why the Saturn will forever be one of my favorite consoles)

But is the van down by a river?

You aren’t the only one. I’m not really excited the more I see. The setting looks amazing but I’m not liking the loot/rpg aspect of the game. To be fair I’ve played all the games in this series including the vita and rogue. I’m stilll optimistic but I’m waiting for reviews

Clearly people are spending money on these things...but man this still stinks with the rise of micros transactions in games. I just wonder what the breaking point will be ( I also blame horse armor for starting us down this path)

esports is a totally different animal then streaming, but in that regard that is the same as going to a sporting event.

I get what you are saying. I have season tickets to the Baltimore Orioles. So I can see the similarities. But to me there is still a fundamental difference just due to sporting events being a destination you plan to go see instead of sitting at my computer watching someone stream a game. ( I also play a lot of video

Good take. The technology makes it easier for us to isolate ourselves while staying connected. It’s strange.

That’s a pretty good take on it. For the people comparing it to watching sports I think they are missing the bit where there is a social aspect to it where you go to games or watch them on tv with friends. I definitely agree with your tak on it. But I’m also old and don’t get it. If it makes people happy that’s great

I’ll probably be working through some Toukiden 2 end game and then after that I’m not sure? Maybe I’ll finally buy Minecraft PS4 or start on my vita backlog. Side note I love the save transfer feature from PS4 to vita on toukiden

Thanks for reporting this. This will definitely influence future game purchases

Don’t start making music lol. There will aways be another piece of gear you’ll want

Well you convinced me to give it a shot. I’ll download and update it tomorrow to check it out :)

I keep hearing this and have thought about trying it. THough right now my addiction is toukiden 2

haha we went to the Gardiner store here in MD ( furniture chain) and were looking at things. And we had the creepiest sales person. I’d think we were clear, and then turn around and there she is peering at us from behind a pillar. She was always just around some corner watching us. Needless to say we’ve never gone

Holy crap it’s actually letters. I never noticed that until you said something here. My mind is sort of blow

Dressage people are the worst. The worst!!

I do not own a boat or a horse. HOWEVER! I’ve know a lot of boat people and they’ve all been pretty cool. “Hey come hang out on our boat! Etc” I’ve also known a lot of horse people and even made the horrible mistake of dating one. Horse people are way worse. Waaaaay worse. They are also no where near as chill as boat

As an adult and a season ticket holder being at the ballpark for a normal game can sometimes feel like forever. Especially when it starts getting to 9:30 and 10pm. It’s got to be even worse for parents with kids that have to make it to school. (Wife is a teacher so it can be rough for her too)
