Yeah the did tone them down a bit. But you're also right that the whole DJ Atomika thing helped make the mountain seem more alive. With the news reports and little stories. What an awesome game.... just to bring it back for us all :)

The intro to that game is one of my favorites. Not to mention the music, and just free riding. The latest one was good, but it just didn't capture what SSX 3 had.

While it does look a bit rehashed, I'm ok with the new ship mechanics and I like that the Assassin's you fight in the strongholds actually use assassin tactics, like attempting to air assassinate you etc.

After looking at the special editions selling for 149 I may have to sell mine lol
