Ok, just saw some more material on the car... The rear end is a tad vomit-inducing.

Hey #9 doesn't look half bad! Not saying it'd be enjoyable to drive, or that it's worth paying money for... but it's fairly attractive. I'd say it's the only one on the list that wouldn't elicit an obnoxious point-and-laugh if I saw it cruising down the street.

Yes, the guy on the bike was in the wrong. No, the cop probably wasn't trying to hurt or kill anyone. But this kind of stuff really doesn't happen anywhere but the US. Unless someone commits a really serious offense, there's no urgent need to give chase. Cops in other countries are trained to understand that chasing a

Hahaha this is true. Can't wait to see this stuff trickle down to our everyday tech!

If I had $7,600,001 to last me the rest of my life I'd consider spending 7.6 million of it on this.

Lol thank you! I got more excited watching a short film about graphene supercapacitors today than I did watching this. Definitely fun for the dude driving, but worthy of Hoon of the Day? I don't really think so.

I'm sorry, but I have to agree with Raph. The Chevy is an option... amongst several other better/more fun ones with lower long-term ownership costs. It tries to be cool, while having no real image to speak of, and being less well-rounded than its competitors.

There should really be a way to flag a post as "poor attempt at wit that eventually turned into a pissing match and is now wasting half the space on this page".

Uhhh they already did that 8 days ago? It was May who "won". Anyway, new show sounds cool ;-)

Your opinion: most people here disagree with it. And anyway, if some part of car culture/motorsports doesn't speak to your 10 or 12 year-old self, you're missing the point. Whatever aspect of it you choose to follow, it's still all about fun. Fun is subjective and there are millions of different flavors of it.

Fancy tech gizmos that take over the jobs of old mechanical parts/systems are great if you're talking about lap times and convenience. Just like smartphones and mp3 players are great for convenience and expedience. But if you're a true music lover, you probably still have a huge vinyl collection that you play at home.

Constantly

Sorry to be that guy - and I'm sure it depends on the make/model of the car - but it's hard to find a good standalone ECU for under a grand, let alone the new harness/wiring work required to install it then more money to get it tuned properly. If I self-installed an Apex'i PowerFC and required sensors in my car then

Also my first thought. It reads as if there were supposed to be a couple more sentences preceding that one... "Me fail english? That's unpossible!"

Depends. If its EWR, fuck no. The thing would be destroyed before I got halfway there. If it were Allentown or some other nice little airport on a B road in the boonies, hell yes. Also I'd throw my friend's luggage in front of a passing bus and offer to replace it later because, if I'm driving a GT-40, I've obviously

I couldn't do it. I enjoy my driving freedom too much. Also my weekend car, while nowhere near a $100k+ supercar, is exciting and (more importantly) affordable enough for me.
