Toriko is great. Anyone who says otherwise is bonkers.
You'd have a point if most of those incidents weren't actually the ideas of producers and writers. I believe the only off the cuff racial-ish remark was that one time with the Mexicans, and that was definitely Hammond rather than Clarkson.
right, and those season pass people got the dlc when it came out and got to play it. The other people dont have the dlc and have never played it. Prices start high and go down over time. How is this unfair?
Because anime. Western people can't get over their "all anime is ultra-violence" or "all anime is naughty tentacles"-mentality. Nowadays it's "all anime are horny schoolgirls" and anything that challenges that mentality is automatically met with disgust.
Why are people so disturbed? I've seen worse and more realistic in other games. Like hatred, assassin's creed and even God of War. In fact, I remember Heavy Rain being way more disturbing.
I just want Senpai to notice me
I've honestly always enjoyed the simplicity of the Clone armor. I know that if the movies were made now they probably would be designed more like these armor sets, but back then the Storm Trooper outfits were pretty good for what many people forget was an independent science fiction film.
I think it's fairly naive and myopic to dismiss a serious issue as a "minute fraction." Do you have stats? No, and I don't either. But I can recognize that gaming culture does have a systemic issue with toxicity, whether it be in the form of 12 year olds spouting racist homophobic nonsense or Twitter trolls under the…
So it's everybody else's problem and not yours? GamerGate has negatively affected the public perception of gaming, like it or not. Mainstream media is being pretty unkind to the culture of gaming. That can have material effects, the kind that can affect you. When will you start to care? When it materially affects you?
The gaming culture? I think it stems way past gaming culture and speaks more about our society itself. Just recently, a high school student took an up-skirt picture of his teacher. Know how the mother of the kid responded?
I wonder if you thought this was a helpful suggestion
We need to have a serious conversation about the level of toxicity in gaming culture. From the swatting to GamerGate, gaming has become a pretty inhospitable place if you wanted to go past casual interest. Any suggestions on how we can minimize toxicity (while simultaneously maintaining competition — which is not a…
Dude, I really didn't want to pick THAT fight over a three second shot in an ad mentioned in an article that was not about that three second shot, but if you wanna be that guy, let's do it.
Yes, because suspense is what I am looking for in my television ads. I want an ad to grab me and say "No wait, don't go to the bathroom yet" and then "Oh, you're watching this on Netflix. I'm not here. Nevermind."
Metal Gear Solid 4, getting the Big Boss ranking. But that's not why it's the most memorable.
