I would bet on that being the case.. hopefully these come from the dealer with several extra sets of brakes and pads to compensate for the sets you will no doubt burn through :)

Domestics have pretty well been lost on me for the last ten years... that said, if GM offered the SS with a manual, and a price range that was say... $5k more than an FR-S/BRZ I would likely be swayed back. It's a handsome car, with the specs to match.. but wow, priced out of the market.

FR-S... Front Engine, Rear Drive, Sports car.

Because either way.. you'll be sending $10k soon after, in the case of the toybaru, it'll be on forced induction, exhaust, etc. For the BMW, it'll be just to keep it running.
