If you learned how to read entire articles and not just headlines, you’d see it’s “valued” at that because a store put out a bounty offering that much to whoever found it. Remains to be see if they follow through, I know another one that offered 1 million confirmed with the finder they’re ready to buy if he wants to

Google makes enough money selling my data so they don’t deserve to get money from me directly. All the youtubers I watch have merch stores or pateron, so I support them directly that way. If they did this, it would hurt the youtubers because I’d stop watching and buying their stuff.

I would rather stop viewing YouTube entirely than allow ads. Advertising, in every form, is intrusive and unwanted.

Judging by Steam hardware surveys, that’s not true at all. The majority of PC gamers use Intel and Nvidia hardware. AMD-sponsored games tend to be disadvantageous to both Intel and Nvidia users, which means AMD-sponsorship is a negative for most PC gamers.

I doubt it. Most PC gamers don't have the latest GPUs, which means they are relying on upscaling tech to get 60 FPS or higher. That seems to be the main reason (aside from not owning an Xbox) to play on PC instead of console, so I suspect many of us will be interested.

Temperature increased to -32C, not -78C. Just FYI

Maybe I slept through too much of my Civics class, but I thought the President / Governor was the head of the Executive branch.....and the Executive branch was in charge of ENFORCING the laws.

It’s a slow-paced artsy walking simulator centered around a rather heavy-handed social message.

Because it isn’t just a giant trench that stays at one level. It is a canal. Canals raise ships up and over higher ground via a system of locks and artificial channels and waterways, then down the other side. It has to have sufficient water at the top of the hump in order keep the artificial channels and basins

OK apparently I’m an idiot. If the canal starts and ends at the sea/ocean, how does a drought impact the water level in the canal? My dummy brain is baffled if the sea level at each end is unchanged(or even rising) why would the water level in the canal itself vary?

I think the real problem here is that company recently surrounded by a giant cloud of sexual assault allegations having a quest whose objective is making sure a sexual assault continues to happen is just a tad gauche.

FF11 and FF14 have enormously deep crafting systems, although they exist to serve an MMO economy. The closest we ever get to any kind of real mix and match crafting system is with the “Chemist” job in Final Fantasy Tactics/Bravely games. I would like to see an expansion on that, but is probably just a niche dream of

Yeah The problem with SQENIX is mostly their creative minds have a completely different vision than what long time Final Fantasy fans want.

Ever since the Bouncer for PS2, it’s been obvious Squaresoft has been seeking a more Cinematic Approach to storytelling. What Made FF Famous is both a mix of its storytelling

Glad I jumped off after 12. Even if the games are good they’re not the kind of games I want out of FF. But I get that they’ve gotta keep the brand alive somehow.

Best moment:

The junction system is fine. People are just really bad at knowing how to get magic quickly to use with it, and are bad at knowing what to do with it. Usually because they skipped the tutorial.

They just found it. Gonna announce it officially in like 2 minutes. I kinda figured they were dead. The way that contact was lost so fast just felt like the end. It’s a sad day.  If they would only have used a Dual Shock 4.

I think the most interesting part of this was seeing the average daily sales for Iron Lung. If I’m reading the chart correctly, the game sells about 80 copies a day on average. That means Iron Lung alone generates about $10k for the developer each month after Valve takes their cut. Throw in the dev’s other games and

Not every gamer places heavy value on exploration. There are plenty of games like visual novels where you can literally just mash one button for the entire game to get through it, sometimes pressing “up” or “down” to make a couple of choices.

So apparently the only difference between a conspiracy and a theory is time? LOL
