Due to your final sentence I assume you just aren’t one for change. I would pay $100 for a new SE game that has traditional turned based combat (ie FF1 thru 10) but even so, FF15 was a fantastic game overall. Was everything after Altissa rushed and made no sense? Sure but that, at least for me, did not take away from

There are tons of PS4 players. Plenty of people that play it as a solo game as well (which is how I originally got in to it). Just be warned the main story pre lvl 50 is pretty slow. They do a lot of world building and there are a lot of time sink quests like giving tea to the troops, feeding the troops, and boosting

I hit 50 shortly before 5.1 and it was miserable leveling. Going from 40 to 50 took forever. I’m not looking forward to gaining another ten level so soon though doing savage raids as BLU might make it worthwhile.

Mass Effect 3 had issues other than ending. Of course ending is a huge one, but the game itself was short and shallow. In ME1 you got to manually explore tons of planets. ME2 was more linear but had tons of great characters and stories. The third game didn’t really introduce anyone new and I’m pretty sure I beat it in

I own the hard copy but never beat it. Matter of fact I barely played it. The combat was so terrible I just couldn’t handle it

The original Baulder’s Gate Dark Alliance was my very first PS2 game. It was also my first D&D type of game. Being a noob was painful. I specced my sorceress into nothing but Lightning Ball (or whatever it was called) and a ton of strength because I got annoyed at having ot port to town so often because of course you

Great list. I honestly almost didn’t click on it but I saw Lightning’s face and figured what the heck why not

The FF13 trilogy was definitely crapped on for no reason. Honestly, 13-2 might be one of my favorite in the entire FF line up. Definitely over rated. Lightning Returns was great as well

As far as Dragon Age 1 vs

I didn’t know the MechWarrior franchise was still alive. I still have my original hard copy of Mech Warrior 2 Platinum Edition. I loved that game so much as a kid. If 5 gets even slightly positive reviews I might have to hop on that

I haven’t watched Babylon but I have yet to be disappointed by any Amazon anime so far. Made in Abyss, Happy Sugar Life, Banana Fish, and Inuyashiki: The Last Hero, to name a few, were all great

You’ve been killing it with these reviews recently.

Though I loved playing FF15 and it is my wife’s favorite in the entire series (she was messed up for MONTHS after it ended), I completely disagree with the title. While I didn’t mind watching Kingsglaive and Brotherhood since I’m an anime fan anyway, I think the game should be reviewed sans-DLC since most of us day

I’ve had geese for a few years now. I had one African goose (female) and now I have three Buff geese (all females) and I would say geese are generally pretty sweet. Temperment changes between breeds, if you imprinted them or not, and gender (which is why I stick with females), but I love my girls. They run over to me

MMO Raiding might be my #1 favorite thing to do in the world of gaming. I was in one of the 250 guilds that downed Heroic Ragnaros (Firelands version) prenerf and was in one of the world’s best two day per week guilds in the first MoP tier. Sadly, I’m adulting now with two jobs and don’t have time to dedicate 2-3

That’s definitely how PoE end game is and I hate it. Have to buy good items from other people because crafting is so intricate, our dps ability is one spell in a six link while all your three and four links go to survivability, and mana is useless (most people reserve 90% of their mana and have so much regen that the

The ARPG market is so hot right now. Not only did GGG announce PoE2 so close to Blizzcon, but Eleventh Hour Games announced a huge patch to their game Last Epoch just a few hours before the PoE2 announcement. Such a good time to be a fan of the genre.

As far as PoE2 is concerned, it looks great. I only have about 200

I don’t know how to edit but I just read on diablofans that D4 will  have elective mode mean you could actually have three ultimates or four conjurations spells on your bars.

I know the game is very early on in development, they may very well have only started after the issues of last Blizzcon, but so far I’m not impressed at all. The graphics of the skills look good, but the characters and environment leave much to be desired. Watching Quin69's stream, it seems the only good thing is “how

Oh look my two favorite Kotaku peeps on the same (kinda) review. RIP my morning

Is there a Gawker equivalent to /r/outoftheloop?

I’ve only played 2 and will never live down the shame. I found Star Mages early on and there was a level where you and the enemy start very closed together in two groups, so my stars could just aoe the block of six, one shot the enemy, and gain a ton of xp. Ended up grinding for a short while until I had a few at
