The fact that the guy who is now being vilified managed to post 27,000 articles without it being highlighted that they weren’t written in “proper Scots” shows what a nonsense the whole portrayal of this phony artifact of tartan-times-gone-by is.

Not so shocking, you can’t have the “wisdom of crowds” without crowds. For languages with large user bases, these things would get noticed and corrected quickly, but for small communities, there’s simply not enough users to provide meaningful user oversight on a vast range of articles.

Yeah, we all need to stop with the attacks on looks and go after character. Even here where people are more progressive, I am surprised by the glee people throw around petty looks based insults, like we don’t have lovely people here who are hurt by the implications that ugly and fat are  evil and a moral failing.
