What is the next step for, say, Starbucks (or whoever) though?
I’ve never served him either, and I try to avoid seeing him on TV whenever possible and I can totally imagine him being mean.
I’m sure she believed what the legislators have been saying — that in cases like hers, when the mother’s life was in danger and the fetus was dying anyway, there would be an exception,
That was how she viewed *other* women until it affected her.
Cultists gonna cult.
Exactly. Unlike some in the UK, I was never particularly on the Canonise-Captain-Tom train (not because I had anything against him, I just never paid much attention) - but...like... what the fuck? He was just, some nice old man who walked up and down in his garden and raised some money, what the fuck did he do to you?…
Very similar to the “protestor” who recently poured a tank of human excrement over a memorial to Tom Moore (a.k.a. Captain Tom - an old man who raised a load of money for the NHS during lockdown and who died last year) in protest at private jets.
The TikTok in question—which has 121K likes and 5.4 million views to date— shows Hughes’ confusion over the words “continent,” “county” and “country,”

Presumably because doing so would be insufficiently manly and/or taking the time to do it properly would eat into profit. Like lumberjacking (another “very dangerous” job)- there…
Obviously.
Exactly - if you think it likely you’ll want children later and you’re not (for whatever reason) in a position to do it now, then freezing your eggs in your thirties is sound advice. Even in the second sentence of the article:
“The decorated actor told Good Morning America on Tuesday that she’s expecting twins after…
A “natural” pregnancy at 54 is exceptionally unusual. Even with medical intervention (IVF, etc) is is very *very* unlikely.
Many questions.
Actually reading further - it appears they did actually mean grappling someone. Which... I struggle to imagine what the would involve.
How long before the move to ban birth control starts. It will (obviously) start with the pill (assuming that hasn’t already happened - it’s hard to keep up). Then it’ll move onto IUDs, injections, condoms etc. Before long, you’ll only be left with the rhythm method.
Which is why getting hold of them should be the obvious first step.
