As a self acknowledged daily driving manual transmission elitest, this made me laugh more than it should have.

The good news is.... it's easy to bring something like this back to life.........

You paid $50 to test drive a Subaru??

Private industry can still build more efficient vehicles if they want. There is no rationale to “blame” Trump for anything because of loosening the standards. You do not have to “make your products worse” if you don’t want to.

Except for the fake vents, which still suck, I like the old wheels and seat color better. Can't stand black wheels. So played out. And FUCKING HATE FAKE ENGINE NOISE PIPED INTO THE CABIN. For Christ’s sake auto manufacturers, STOP with the fake engine noises. Spend that development money on something legit that

You are spot on. I grew up during this era. Rode in some my friends had when the cars were still young. Even back then I was appalled at how cheap and rattle(y) they were. Now after all this time? Ha! To think junk like 80s or 90s GM products are valuable is ludicrous.

For God’s sake. Driving a manual in stop and go is not that freaking bad.  Everybody's so frail these days.  Cowboy up!

Daddy want.

Don’t kid yourself, Nebraska fans and football players are some of the worst out there. Growing up near K-State it was obvious the nastiest fans and dirtiest teams were Nebraska and OU in the 80s and 90s. I saw plays like this from the "blackshirts" all the time. I've no sympathy for Nebraska's tough times these days.

This is exactly the point I make to people when they’re wanting that “high seating.” When most vehicles were cars, yeah you got one up on everybody else. But now that everybody has an SUV or truck you’re right back to where you were.

Was actually at the Acura dealer this morning to get the transmission and diff fluids changed on wife’s 2017 RDX. There was a 2019 RDX in the showroom. I couldn’t believe how HUGE the A is on the grill! Extremely gaudy. Didn’t mind the rest of the vehicle though.

Thank you for making me laugh today!  This was perfect!

I’m a simple fellow. Regular tires and a spare in a dedicated storage spot in the trunk floor and suspension set up for such. An engine oil dipstick. Common sense serviceability such as a drain plug in the differential. (yes I’m mainly speaking to you BMW. But it’s applicable across the board....)

This! Seems like a Honda special trait these days.

Honestly I wish they’d get back to the single exhaust with dual tips. Less weight, less piping/complexity, cleaner design, lower cost come replacement. Seems like a win win. I don’t think it’s less “cool” looking than the dual exhaust. But obviously somebody thinks so or it wouldn’t be a thing.

Ah, still newlyweds.... ;-)

WINNING!

I’d gladly give up a little MPG for higher tension piston rings that don’t carbon up and let oil slip by. If cars are burning a quart every 1000 miles, how “environmental” is that? Tricks to meet MPG standards really suck sometimes and don’t come for free (in more ways than one).

“Was the clerk overreacting? Maybe.” HELL NO!!! Don’t downplay that idiot smoking near gas.

Damn, we must be long lost twins. I had a black 91 Si I drove for 17 years. Loved that thing. Was a great car. But I now have a 330i ZHP that is absolutely the most perfect DD ever conceived. Essentially all stock, I track it several times a year and it looks fantastic in a sea of SUVs and minivans when picking
