Well, to start off, no car company is without faults and Ferrari is no different. But when you look at the entire body of work, I think most other car companies would love to be in Ferrari's position. One of the most recognized brands in the world. Their main products (cars) are in ridiculous demand and they can

Regardless of what anyone thinks of Ferrari, there's no denying what Montezemolo has done for that brand. I've been following Ferrari since the 84 Testarossa caught my eye as a kid. He has made them into the absolute pinnacle of the automotive industry. If Sergio thinks the best way forward is to water that down,

No purely electric Ferraris as long as he's in charge, huh? I distinctly remember reading an interview in a car magazine several years ago when F1 transmissions were picking up steam. He said Ferrari would always make a manual transmission as long as he was in charge. We know how that ended up.....

I agree - Schumi driving that on three wheels was really cool. But for the life of me I never understood why Coulthard would slow down on the racing line on one of the fast parts of the track (more spray). I remember in an interview he said he pulled off line. BS! Anybody that's watched F1 at Spa knows that's the

They sound terrible compared to the NA engines. I know there's a bunch going on under the skin with the new technology but it doesn't really matter, I can't see it and now I can't hear it. All I hear is a souped up weed whacker and that doesn't do much for me. After nearly 20 years of making sure I watched every F1

Seemed like everything changed when Pirelli had to revert to the prior spec construction after the British GP fiasco. From that point on it was all Red Bull much like it was the year before. The cars are so fickle when it comes to the tires, the other teams probably did stop developing when it became clear how much

It's hard to continue watching when your team gets it handed to them week in and week out. Tends to take the fun out of it after a while. I should know, I'm a lifelong KC Chiefs and Royals fan. Yeah, the Griefs are having a better year, but once a decade is too far between good seasons. As for the Royals, man '85

Olivier Panis drove a hapless Ligier to the 96 Monaco GP win. I wouldn't say that meant he was a great driver that could hoist a poor car up to the top step of the podium by his sheer greatness. I've been watching F1 for quite a while and the rain always makes everything a crapshoot. Monaco 96 and Monza 08 were

I've thought the title "Rush" hasn't helped to capture anybody's imagination. It's a lazily chosen cliched racing title along the same lines as "Driven." I'm no professional movie title creator so I don't have a suggestion, but it just didn't seem like much effort was put into the title.

What a bunch of fine upstanding citizens.....

I've coordinated 4 TRSS schools in my area. I became interested in this after living in the city after college and realizing a lot of kids don't have the same opportunities I did growing up on a farm - namely driving a variety of vehicles and <gasp> doing donuts, power slides, and Scandanavian flicks on my ATV in the

I've seen Atlantic Blue in person and think it's a great color. I'd have no problem taking this rare color if BMW wanted to swap out the interior and give a discount/refund and document the change because quite frankly, the interior in the picture above with the blue inserts is just tacky.

Sorry, no Stone Temple Park for me either. Bring back Weiland.....

I second that motion!

I vividly remember an interview with Montezemolo a number of years back when he responded to the question of whether Ferrari would always make a manual transmission available because the F1 trans was selling like hot cakes. His response was something exactly like this "as long as I'm in charge, yes." I thought to

Awesome!

I taught my wife how to drive a manual. Now she loves stealing my car from time to time because she enjoys it. But what I really think she likes is when other men (most of whom can't drive a manual) are in awe that she can drive a manual. Her cool wife status went way up with her co-workers.

A little common sense and self responsibility goes a long way. Try using it occasionally. Way too many people think the world revolves around them these days.

99 lbs extra with the PDK (30 kilos) and rear wheel system (15 kilos). That's quite a bit for a car like this. If I had the means to get one I'd want those systems deleted which of course they don't give that option. Damned shame the most beloved sports car company is caving to 0-60 times and various other paper

That is hilarious!
