Part of me can’t believe I read the whole article and followed the logic
When I was a little kid I used the pronounce Grand Prix as “Grand Pricks” because I didn’t understand French pronunciation.
Have you ever owned your own business? Have you ever managed group that required you to obtain and allocate those resources? Have you ever been in a position of having to “spend money to make money”? I have. Apparently you haven’t or you would understand this;
Maybe they won’t upgrade, maybe they can’t justify the expense or its not available.
Because it chews up bandwidth, that’s why. One stream doesn’t use much but multiply it times everyone in the office and now you slow everything else down. More bandwidth costs money. This is more critical in some industries than others....
As do I. I respect anyone who handles 40 tons of machinery with competence. Pay is relative, truckers out earn any of the jobs mentioned by the OP.
Libertarian Gary Johnson is far closer to your platform than the other 3. Not perfect but closer.
Why not? It pays well. Better than any of the jobs you mentioned and you work pretty independently. Don’t demean what you don’t understand.
In NASCAR... none. Not allowed.
Those seats are gonna need some SERious cleaning...
Thanks for the thoughts and advice. We vote to express our views, the guns insure we are heard. Little tyrannys sneak thru, large attempts meet We the People. Our military are part of the People, some of the best People. They will support what is right, even if those elected won’t.
Anyone who thinks this would be a good idea needs to be forced to drive I10 across Texas at 55 mph in August with no AC.
We had this shit in the past. 55 mph nationwide. Didn't save any fuel, won't reduce carbon emissions. It took better than 20 years to throw this out and get back to reasonable speeds and another 10 to get trucks back up to speed. We got rid if this crap before, we can fight it tooth and nail now because this is the…
Eating cheese in an over 100F desert while driving a car with no AC. Spoiled cheese would be the least of your problems... Its affect on your internals may even eclipse your co-driver’s stomach bug. Which may also be affected by the smell of your hot cheese burps...
Stigma? I don’t think that is the main problem. I think it is the cost, pure and simple. All hybrids cost more than their standard models (if they exist). The Prius models do have counterparts in Toyota’s lineup, however.
Agreed... the laws of physics will NOT be repealed by the California legislature no matter how hard they try. It will just remove trucks from the Cali market or make them cost way more. Another reason to move out of California.
The car makers DO indeed make cars people want and like. That’s why they sold 17.5 million in 2015.
Leasing is nearly always bad for the non-business buyer. You jump on the monthly payment merry-go-round with no hope of ever eliminating that payment. It nearly always costs you more over the long run.
