But you were talking about people who had already switched to mac not going back to check out PCs being a sign of being rich, meaning they already have a 1200+ buck computer and you think it's because they're rich that they don't bother to buy another PC on top of the mac they already own. That doesn't make sense.

Not buying a second computer just for gaming is a sign of being rich? Odd...I'm not sure I understand your logic there. A rich person wouldn't think twice about buying a PC on top of a mac they already own. If I had huge amounts of money I would get one just to play the games that aren't available on mac.

No, but having had extensive experience with both does qualify me to make a comparison. Others have made a similar comparison and have likewise found the mac preferable. No doubt there are some with extensive experience with both that would disagree, but that doesn't invalidate the fact that many people legitimately

When I first got my PC it was a great computer, and while it did age poorly I performed a few upgrades to try to keep it up to required specs for the games I wanted to play. Admittedly I might have been better off just buying a new computer instead of trying to salvage my outdated one. However, adjusted for inflation,

your an idiot.

Yes, but not Apple II, which is the computer Aquasol mentioned and Mox was responding in regards to...

Uh, Castle Wolfenstein and Beyond Castle Wolfenstein were both Apple II games. However, none of the games you listed were...

Fair point. I haven't had much experience at all with modern PC gaming so my impression is based almost entirely on decade old experiences. I'm sure if I had been using a mac from 2000-06 I'd have had some negative experiences as well that one doesn't face with a modern mac.

Seems like you've read something into my post that isn't there. In actuality I did perform some minimal upgrades on my PC specifically to keep it's specs above the minimum requirement for the games I wanted to play, but even reaching those specs didn't serve to guarantee that the games would run smoothly on my

You sound like the proverbial homophobe hundreds of years of puritanical culture told me about. Seriously, you think dick sucker works as an insult? That attitude is unlikely to get you many blowjobs. Personally I go out of my way to treat dick suckers nicely; so far it's worked in my favor.

I've got 43 mac games in my steam library plus about a dozen from the app store, and they all seem to run great. I was on a PC until I made the switch to a mac in 2006, and can honestly say I had way more issues with gaming on my PC than I've ever had on my Mac. On my PC I would often have games that would barely run

Except for it not being true? Some upgrades might void your warranty, but they're not impossible to do. Certain upgrades don't void your warranty and are extremely easy to perform (e.g. upgrading your RAM).

I'm super excited! Happy to see mac users not have to wait years to play a hit game.

Saying a gamer tag with "herpes" in it is of a sexual nature seems like a stretch. Sure, there is a form of herpes that can be sexually transmitted, but there are also lots of non-sexually transmitted forms of herpes. If they had rules against all diseases that'd be one thing (e.g. no "cancer" gamer tags), but unless

That's weird, in this last steam sale I got 41 games for my mac. All those games seem to run smoothly on my macbook, but you're saying that despite that fact, my mac is NOT for gaming?

Now playing

What bothers me in the editing of the show so far is how they've put almost all the blame on Aaryn, when numerous other cast members have said horribly bigoted things. Amanda has been edited as a voice of reason in all this, even having some scenes make the show where she confronts Aaryn about her racism, but as you

So I read through this whole thread and I just need to let you know, you're a complete idiot. That is all.

Quite rightly.

How does my response even remotely work to illustrate your point? Try using some actual logic sometime instead of (really ineffective) emotional attacks. I wasn't the one who tried to appeal to how "other people" are perceiving the conversation, you were. I certainly wouldn't have resorted to that argument, but since

Just in this conversation I have 24 stars to your 1...are you really sure I'm the one making my side look bad? You've barely managed to articulate anything resembling a reasonable point, with your last being a laughable attempt at ad hominem.
