"A Million Voices For Choice" or "March for Choice" would both be better. I vehemently disagree that owning a uterus is a requirement, as such legislation has an impact on many non-uterus owners as well. I would hope you would realize saying "oh well you had a hysterectomy, so your opinion is less valid than mine

It's not a derailing tactic, I'm trying to point out that often time's what is intended to be a positive rallying cry for feminists, ends up seeming exclusionary towards men. Women should want men on their side on this issue, not actively exclude them from it or make them feel like their opinion isn't relevant

Ah, so refreshing when an internet discussion is civil :)

Well, because the title "Million Woman March" very clearly seems to imply that a women's presence "counts" (literally, towards the million) while a man's does not.

Why only women? Sometime's I'm disheartened by how many comments here seem to suggest my pro-choice opinions are irrelevant because I don't have a uterus (by which logic any infertile woman's opinion on the matter would also be irrelevant). A woman's right to choose is something I too feel very passionately about, and

I own 0 fedoras.

No worries.

Odd, the tribune shows a move from 6/26 to 6/25. You're reporting the opposite.

I'm a boy :0 I'm guessing from your yes ma'am you didn't see my edit to my last post. Though I guess a penis doesn't guarantee I'm not a ma'am.

I think the person who said parliamentarian was right. I had to look up what that was, as I thought it just meant member of parliament.

Her parliamentary inquiry was never actually addressed, which it looks like people wanted to point out to him when they were calling roll. She pwned him, the crowd cheered forever, and then he just decided during the cheering to call the vote.

I've got a sinking feeling it's

Soooo...what happened? Seemed like they held some votes amidst the yelling...

Technically they still haven't ended the filibuster right? So they should have to stick to midnight. Wouldn't put it past them to make an exception though :/

Yes! This is amazing. 11 more minutes of cheering to go til midnight! Don't they automatically end then?

Who is the woman who keeps whispering to the president when he takes a pause?!

Sugar mamas definitely already exist, even if they aren't as common as sugar daddies. Also, while I'm not personally sure about lesbians, I know sugar daddies are fairly common among gay men (I would actually have guessed it's more common among gay men than straight people, but that's just based off my own experience).

sugar babies — young women who hook up with rich old dudes so the old dudes buy them crap, often at great risk to themselves and their own well-being—

Seduction in itself is not inherently misogynist or offensive
