Can you fold down the seats in the lancer ralliart sedan? I know the Evo X could not, and the trunk space in that was laughable.

It’s a flattering angle I think.

Good points, suppose anything is possible if you have the time. You’re correct, it does have a constant mechanical link in the PTU to the front diff drive essentially. So the rear clutch control I was thinking of is the only two RDU left/right clutch packs.
Actually there is ECU control of the torque sent to the rear via a clutch as well. Any fault in a component (ABS wheel speed sensor, ABS system fault, etc.) would lead to AWD not functioning. So you can see how critical it would be to avoid any faults, nigh impossible in a junkyard swap.
Even so, it would be incredibly difficult and I don’t see it happening.
Good luck. The plethora of components needed would make it not worthwhile. The AWD system on this runs a separate ECU than the engine, and works across the CAN bus with the Engine ECU, ABS, and other modules. Without the necessary CAN networks in place it would not function at all.
They could potentially sue the dealer, as if the vehicle was already purchased, it would have been in the customers name. Thus, the salesperson driving the vehicle would have been considered grand theft auto.

Interestingly the new civic type r uses a very similar approach with high hp fwd.
The focus rs500 would like a word; proper suspension goes a long way.
Official horsepower cert by SAE is at the crank, every auto mfr follows this. There is a reason, its a standardized consistent test.
I previously worked at Chrysler so that helped having some experience to get in. However ford is hiring a lot recently, there is a very good rotation program for new graduates. Best chances to get in; fsae participation, intern or coop experience, auto experience, and passion! You can apply directly to the graduate…
UFO? Its from the sunlight hitting the lens, not sure the technical term but diffraction maybe? Causing a prism like effect.
In this case the car was already revealed, got permission to share outside Ford. Usually they want to wait until all the marketing blitz is done so the official shots go first.
Coming? We’re already done :) going on sale this spring
Mine was shot outside of Flagstaff, AZ past Snowbowl mountain.
Nice shot! The clouds really pop there. Just white balance edit for the blue tint?
Not trying to be defensive at all, appreciate the comments. That’s the whole thing that makes photography great!
I work specifically on the 2.3L engine, and this was during an engineering development trip. We work very long hours on these(for good reason) so downtime is minimal for stuff like this. By no means an official marketing led shoot, if it was it would have been much more prepared and finished.
