With one player in tears, and the other smiling and cheering, you’d totally think the match had gone the other way! That’s a fellow who just loves seeing top-tier play; sometimes it’s his play, and sometimes it isn’t.

It’s one big reason I really like SonicFox. He seems like a great person, besides being an excellent player and having solid choice in callname.

I’ve only heard a bit about him, but stuff like this makes me understand the support he gets.

Man, SonicFox was a fantastic sport about it as well.  Cheered him on and everything after the match.  That’s the kind of sportsmanship we need in all big tournaments!

Your anger at ‘steambois’ seem to inform your position here more than anything else. Now taking issue with a dev being a condescending jackass is being ‘entitled’?

You only need to defend yourself from nothing when you know you’ve done something wrong. They should have just said it was a financial decision to guarantee the small dev team could survive and keep doing what they want to be doing, full stop, that’s fine, gotta run a business. Instead dude just comes off kind of tone…

Just on the last point, they did more than put the issue in perspective. They dismissed the issue. They started by suggesting that people who don’t like Epic are doing it for the sake of being angry:

I was a huge Ooblets fan; been on their Discord a long while now, keep up with all their devlogs, etc... but I’m not okay with installing a Tencent-owned piece of software on my computer for a whole slew of reasons(such as not being okay with their aiding the PRC in the ongoing genocide and “reeducation” camps…

The first sections are fine, ‘We are an Epic exclusive because Epic promised us a lot of money’. Great, that’s hard to turn down, we understand.  ‘Now we and our families feel more secure.’ Well good.

Im pretty sure having to pay more money because Epic is the only launcher that doesnt support my currency does have a negative effect on me but go off I guess.

While I support their decision to do what makes sense for their company, especially financially, it felt like their counterarguments were mixed between easy lob shots and fraught fallacies:

Fair enough, but hopefully by leaning on Papa Roach this will gain more traction and lead to repercussions for the venue. Papa Roach gets pressured and in turn pressures the venue to issue an apology or even compensate the artist in some way, if only lightly. 

They aren’t trying. It’s that simple. Most of the social media giants aren’t. It is laughably easy to find outright neo-Nazi content if you know their buzzwords. Because it’s that easy, a human moderator should be able to go through and spend the day striking that content, or banning if a certain level of rule…

The controllers are fine. There’s some dust or dirt that got inside them.

Reporting on healing, they’ve changed the overall role in a way I’m not sure I like, though I still prefer healing over the other roles. They’ve gutted our DPS abilities, with the scholar losing the most buttons, so now all three jobs just spam a main single target or AoE spell while keeping a DoT up. It feels like my…

After a few weeks, I still don’t understand the appeal of Clueless Hero

The Twinning has the best music of any dungeon in the expansion. It’s got Omega, it’s got Syrcus Tower, and it’s got Alexander, and oh god do I crank it up whenever I get that dungeon.
