Also it’s a bad idea for a developer to say “it’s coming, chill” about anything. These are huge moving machines with very expensive important properties. Never promise too much.

My guess is that even though Columbia Pictures is a subsidiary of Sony Entertainment, that doesn’t mean that there is absolutely no red-tape to get the suit into the Sony game. I mean, look at the header image, it even includes “©2002 CPII” to give credit to the original film, someone owns something that they needed…

I don’t care about Persona 5 as I don’t care about JRPGs but this has me pumped just knowing how much people will love this.

$20 was a steal for one of the best PS2 games, and I’m 100% fine with paying $30 for it now. I’d even pay $60. It’s worth it.

Silver lining, I’m having more fun with Tetris Effect than I would have with any of those other games.

Unfortunately, it still falls on Ninja for helping create this community in the first place. There are streaming couples out there that have more controlled, rational-minded audiences, and that is without saying the streamers themselves are pretty damn professional at their entertainment shtick.

I read that as “Reno 911", and then was sorely disappointed...

I mean, Pocket Fighter and SPFIIT are two completely different genres, so you can’t really compare them....

If you want my $0.02... Wait for reviews, and buy the game if you think you want to play it. I will certainly be playing the hell out of it. I suspect that it’ll be incredible.

slightly confusing headline. I saw that and thought “but it DID have dog policemen- Copper was in the final game...” but you are referring to the name only being different.

Classic Tetris has a really nice community. I love salt and blowups in traditional fighting games and Smash, but Tetris players have always seemed chill and just interested in improving and optimizing their game. Makes for a pleasant change of pace.

Reminds me of when McDonald’s made their menu items into transforming robots and put them into the Happy Meals. Late 80's maybe? I loved them at the time.
