I’d prefer to be patched out of existence. Knowing game development, even if patched out there will likely still be remnants somewhere. A commented out line of code, a sprite sheet, etc.

I would adore something active like this in fighting games. I end up so frustrated even in training because the game expects me to do a combo and I feel like I’m hitting the buttons, but it doesn’t go off. Even with ones that let me see what inputs it saw, that doesn’t tell me where I’m off in timing to what the game

This was one of my fav games on the Playstation and I keep wishing another was made beyond Dance Summit. I’d have to say the groove had really gotten to me when after playing I went to change the TV channel and realized I was hitting the buttons in a 4 beat, pausing before hitting enter.

Or microsleeping in a dungeon; dozing off while still running through the maze of interim halls and waking up just in time to stop before aggroing the boss.

It took me a few tries to get my island seed figured out. What helped for me was to only focus on solid knowledge (rainbows, meteor showers marked on the notice board) and clear days. That way there was no confusion about cloud amount or rain severity. From there I just put data in one at a time then ran the scan each

That’s what I’m trying to figure out. The pattern on them suggests a simple panel, but the red edges are thicker than what is on those, so I’m not sure.

I absolutely love the visual texture that the weeds in this game give. When I went to design a biking/hiking trail behind my campgrounds, I actively turned to weeds to help in creating a dense undergrowth beneath the pine trees. As long as you stay under 100 weeds from my understanding, it won’t injure your island

Playing a lot of Rock Band has likely skewed this a bit for me as I easily recognized songs before my generation. Also the fact that I don’t listen to much current radio (other than what pops up on Rock Band) made newer songs harder for me to recognize as well. Currently I mostly listen to video game soundtracks and

Happy birthday, Mike!

Tonberries are some of the best. I loved them enough to never reset my grudge level in FFXI and I always greet them in FFXIV.

I tend to be the one friends turn to if they feel stuck on naming things since it is serious business for me. I’ll spend hours pouring through thesauruses and dictionaries of obscure or forgotten words for ideas. For this Animal Crossing, I felt inspired to look through a middle english dictionary for my island name.

If I’m really having trouble getting thoughts to shut off so I can sleep, I like to play the mobile game Boomshine. It features soft, repetitive, chill, piano music while you tap the screen to create an expanding bubble and hope it hits some of the dots lazily drifting around the screen so they expand in turn. It’s a

I definitely know the feeling LiA is going for, though in reverse. I’ve played FF14 enough to know what emote my character will do in a cutscene and tend to mimic it a second in advance.

And furniture. I’ve got a replica Carby Lamp that I won from a crane game site.

And has a whole line of in-game furniture and clothing.

Always great seeing a LoadingReadyRun reference here. Dale is such a fun GM, especially the Paranoia sessions.

I’m so jealous! When I went to rent a Playstation when trying to decide if I should buy that or a Saturn, I wanted to get RE to play, but my Blockbuster either didn’t have it or was rented out at the time. I ended up renting Jumping Flash, which was a fun experience, but not the one I was hoping for.

I never felt much of a connection with Hop. For all his energy, my character wasn’t sharing it. He runs into my house at the start of the game eagerly telling me to join him to meet his brother and all my character does is keep sitting on the couch until I use the controller. I think the only 2 moments where I felt

I miss self resurrection as well. I’m not the best at making things dead, so I’d try to balance it out with optimizing team support. If there was one thing I was good at in Destiny 1, it was doing a sprint loop around an arena after raising myself, dodging attacks and adds while getting people back up asap. I miss

I tried to participate in the event on my server yesterday, but so many people had come to my server from others to do the event that I was unable to enter the zone. It was rather disappointing to be kept out of trying something new on my home server. I understand the whole ‘well you didn’t miss much’, but I’d have
