I liked it when it came out, but it didn’t blow me away and I still preferred 6. The Playstation never really wowed me graphically back in the day the way the N64 did so maybe that took some of the wind out of its sails for me.

Ehhh not really. Moving around can be a pain in the ass due to the limitations of the pre-rendered backgrounds (those little arrows that point out exits helps but it is still annoying in some places). It isn’t Resident Evil bad (that game does not hold up to me at all. Tank controls can go to hell), but its not great.

I honestly thought it was a pretty fair list with mixes of both. Not your fault the PC version of Arkham Knight is still broken.

Bought a few of these games yesterday. Right now 80 Days is the one that gripped me the most. It is hard to explain, but it is really quite an astounding game and experince.

Haven’t beaten it yet and it does have its in the feels moments, but there is a lot of Earthbound like funny humor so far.

The piano theme combined with the hand drawings just kills me. Speaking of static screens that cause emotions and feels.

Does this version have a proper sounding soundtrack closer to the SNES version or does it have the bad GBA version?

KH3 feels like its 2 years away at best. Be lucky to see it in 2017. Ugh

That was the greatest character battle ever.

Dick was great as Batman but in the end yes Bruce is Batman.

Was the best run of someone not named Bruce as Batman.

Exactly. Now we know why we only have scenes from literally the first 5 minutes of the original game. Odds are they have nothing from later portions of the story done enough to show to the public.

That isn’t why remakes happen. Remakes are rereleasing our favorite games with new paintjobs and some tuneups under the hood, and gamers generally go for it because many of their favorite games haven’t aged well.

That is what people want. They want a “perfected” version of the game they love. One with graphics that age well, and with some of the bugs and gameplay issues from the original fixed and maybe some new extra content.

Explains why all we have seen is footage from the very beginning of the game.

It is one of the reasons why people wanted a remake so badly. Because it being the first 3D FF, it suffers the most as the graphics aged horriblely (compared to 6 which is near the peak of 2D graphics, so it holds up extremely well).

Well you will continue to not have played it as this is shaping up to be a completely different game. If you want to actually experince FF7, then this remake isn’t the place to go.
