Really, we celebrate? News to me. Also, we can question the use of “enhanced interrogation” techniques and still see the need for the CIA. Also, I think it was the Bush Administration who manipulated the CIA report to further their agenda in Iraq.

So the Republicans who were 100% on the Trump Train are now having second thoughts....excellent.

God that was so disgusting

Lol unless you believe the conspiracy theory that Russia also successfully hacked the RNC and is blackmailing the Republicans. But in all seriousness I think they are using all these diversions to push through their regressive legislation.

And there are others (Mitch McConnell, Jason Chaffetz and Senate Intelligence Committee Chairman Richard Burr said his panel’s investigation into Russia’s meddling in the presidential election would not look into possible contacts between Moscow and the Trump campaign.) who seem just fine looking the other way.

I see your point, but I think he’s power hungry as much as the other Republicans and willing to overlook and even embrace the Russian connection if it helps further their agenda of repealing the ACA, defunding Planned Parenthood etc etc

But he seems pretty ok being the running mate and Vice President to someone who is.

That is really chilling. There is now a view that questioning or challenging someone’s point of view is the same as personally attacking them. Hence, his comment about them being the opposition party will play well among Trump’s base.

Sorry should have clarified. I read about Bush’s tax cuts and it said it passed with 12 democrats voting for it. Hardly overwealming suppport and shows how dems have shifted right. Also the dems in congresshave more diverse opinions unlike republicans who always vote in lockstep

Try 2001

So you’re saying that years of Right Wing tax cuts and “trickle down” economics created a mess in 2008 and Obama came in and his alleged “horrible policies” he never was able to enact because of nonstop obstruction would have been just as bad??

But ICE’s top priority removal category includes people convicted of the offenses of illegal entry and reentry ― non-violent crimes that don’t distinguish them much from other undocumented immigrants. DHS officials did not immediately provide a breakdown of the criminal offenses deportees had been convicted of.

Wrong, just wrong.

What fairness? Heath insurance companies being able to deny coverage due to preexisting conditions again? War on Terror, who gave the order to take out OBL? Border security who has overseen the most deportations of any President?

But here’s the thing, all the doom and gloom the Right ranted about Obama never happened. No gun control, he was not a Muslim, nor a Kenyan etc etc. However, just in the last week the Republicans voted in the middle of the night to strip millions of their health care benefits, already introducing legislation to

“We won’t violate the right to peaceful protest.”

I agree. I think they are s caught up in their right wing bubble of Fox News etc that they are majorly underestimating what the response from the public will be. I swear the Congressional Republicans are behaving like kids in a candy store right now.

This election could not have worked out any better for Putin. I bet he’s laughing his ass off (while planning to invade his neighboring countries)

Bush and co started the Middle East fiasco yet somehow it became all Hillary and Obama’s fault. The Republican voters will never admit they’ve been duped.
