I think I'm in the same boat. I think the lesbian cop was the most popular character from the 1st movie. I was pissed when she died until they shot barbed wire up the ladies coot, then I was just horrified/vindicated.

The detonation of the bomb at the end was pretty cool too. I think the movies would have been a bit better with a bigger budget.

Have you re-watched Mortal Kombat recently? I think that movie came out when I was 8 but back then I thought that movie was the shit.

I love Milla Jovovich in these movies, although it's mostly plot-less action. I enjoy the movie for what it is. I am not going to expect a good plot and storytelling from video game adaptations.

That's exactly what I was thinking. I just purchased Halo 3, Mass Effect 2, and Dragon Age Origins for 10 bucks altogether but I could see spending a larger amount of money on a game like The Last of Us if I were any good at shooters.

Is there an incentive to buying the game new? I'm not too familiar with the game but I've purchased some good used games for cheap.

I'm a paralegal/gamer and I know several people who have high paying corporate jobs who carry handhelds in their briefcases. Although, sometimes I cringe at some of the "legal" arguments that people seem to think they know a lot about. Someone reads a statute and all of a sudden they're experts.

It's been in the works for a few years now. Originally it was given a release date of Summer 2013. I've been jonesing for the new anime ever since.

Agreed, the original movie always reminded me of a survival/stealth game. The Nostromo crew fabricated weapons from non-weapon items and think of all of the quiet stealth sneaking around that Ripley did.

That's a great idea. It can be hard to ask people to leave your home if they are your guests, but setting an end time ahead of time gives everyone a time frame for what time they should plan to leave as to not outstay their welcome.
