Yeah, there are airspace violations worth sending an angry letter over and airspace violations worth shooting over. Even if the Turkish version of events is correct, there was no good reason to shoot down the Russian jet.

The Russians are saying their radar record shows the Turks entering Syrian airspace to attack the Russian jet.

Turkey and Erdogan have their own agenda and it is an Islamist one. They start fearing for their ISIL friends...

Look who’s day drinking now, normally we have to wait for evening for such an outstanding article, I love lunacy in the early afternoon it makes Monday so much better.

Alternatively, hit the power stations/substations with precision munitions, knocking out the power grid. Then hit water treatment and sewage treatment facilities. Any fuel truck going into the city is a valid target.

I said the same thing.

Comparing this game to game that came out in 2005 and prior is kind of unfair. If they made Battlefront with the animations, level design and textures of Battlefront 2 you’d be up in arms that they focused on quantity and not quality. If they had released battlefront with the same classes and maps and updated

Whitewalls on a mobile missile launcher, Classy and retro. Nicely done China.

We used to play this chicken game with the Russians back in the ‘80’s. We were careful to turn off radars and to aim weapons down to the deck to preclude any excuse for a “misunderstanding” and I thought both sides, at least the men on the ships if not the men back at headquarters, pretty-well understood the game. Even better, the Battlefield games aren’t even made by Americans, they are made by Swedes.

Sooo... China thinks they can invade Japan with a small amount of retired Soviet equipment and some of their own ripoffs while the 7th fleet and Japanese navy are present? Yeah lets see how that goes.

They conveniently left out what happens next. Either:

Except those video games aren’t an official production of the United States government.

But why? How is ANY of this actually useful in a practical sense? Yeah, it’s tremendously impressive aerobatics in the hands of an extremely skilled pilot. And?

Growlers, and other completely dedicated ECM/ELINT aircraft would add to it’s capabilities. How necessary is it? Who knows. That’s one of those things that is classified to a crazy degree. That being said, we know the F-22’s RWR and countermeasures suite includes it’s AESA radar, which all by itself has the potential

I am very happy to see this. Imagine if automakers were allowed to use the military’s development methods.
