He did have the ability to tie his own shoes; it's in the article. I know that this is an arbitrary example and upon reflection, Nancy Lanza had to have some mental health issues of her own.

I understand that too, really. Yet, I'm still so enraged with her because she wasn't protecting him. She was actually hurting him. In the article it is stated that she was somewhat shocked that Adam tied his own shoes while out on a hike with his dad when he was an older child. Why would she not have him tie his own…

This horrific tragedy is just so unimaginable. As a mother or maybe because of being a mother, I cannot help but feel so much rage against Nancy Lanza. Continually allowing Adam's isolation, catering to his idiosyncrasies, being dishonest about their reality, and most shocking/neglectful having an arsenal of weapons…

But Lady Mary's coat is ah-mazing! Rosamond's is boring.
