Those are NOT sand shoes. + just ignoring the airbrushing, why was having an uneven surface for them to ahem stand on a good move- it just makes everyone look even less like they fit in the picture together. *sigh*
@AfroJezeBella: I have to say its the only Toni Morrison that I've read, but I've just studied Beloved, and it is a truly astounding book...you just to have to get into it, but it contains some of the most poignant sentences I've ever read.
Oh Courtney, your hair, skin and shirt shouldn't be that close in colour!
@Looker: I think its the mark of a bad dress where you can't tell if the woman wearing it is pregnant— and in fact are actively hoping she is pregnant to excuse the awfullness of the dress!
@tse-tse-fly: The whole thing with the pink though— it doesnt apply to him, but there are some people that pink just doesn't suit— I'm a redhead and I can barely go near baby pink let alone fuschia— I know pink's kind of the point of the event but still...
@CKD1: That was exactly what I was thinking
@dismantledwoman: I know this sounds stupid, but is the cover not the actual one then...cos thats definitely a guy :) ?
@PetiteGal: Yeah...and have big chested mannequins having curvier figures—I'm not looking for mega realism, but just something within the realms of possibility (without surgical help)!
@GoodBadNotEvil: This may not be it, but she looks fairly tanned, and her make ups pretty minimal— quite often she goes for the 50s makeup thing...
@hfree: Don't ever be ashamed of being into the history of the English Crown! :D
@regazza_di_lupo: quite frankly in magasines it could be any one of 1) naturally flat chested, 2) angle, 3) extreme skinny and 4) bad airbrushing— i quite often give up trying to figure it out!
@furthermore: I figure a good rule, is if they work better agewise with your kids, then really no!—so Madonna- really really no!
@furthermore: I'm 17 - its allowed right? :)
@regazza_di_lupo: I think she may be just very flat chested!
@val1124: I'm not necessarily disputing your point, but often musicians/performers don't make anywhere near the amount of money you would expect- the record companies are often the ones that make the true money, not the performers themselves (especially if they don't write the songs themselves, which I suspect applies…
@smartastic: Don't worry I know. I do find american portrayals of english people hysterical though- especially as they always seem to be the baddies! Mind you I'm sure the reverse is true for americans in british programmes :)
@SingleLady: I can't think of anything to say in response, but thankyou for saying this.
@smartastic: Um yeah, except that no-one's said guv'nr over here in about 250 years.
@radiochief: Correct me if I'm wrong, but it might be that the magazine simply didn't publish the coup until after the Oscars (to make the biggest impact), not that this woman didn't sell the story until this point. I'm just speculating, but that could be a possibility in terms of the timing.
