I really liked Tabula Rasa :(
Sure, but the Mega Drive had the SVP / Virtua Processor for it's carts (though only one ever used it). And it had the Mega CD and 32X addons. AND it was backwards compatible with the Master System! Not like the weak SNES, where Nintendo made you throw out your old NES games and had to keep slapping extra chips in…
Hah. The arguments about Blast Processing and Super FX were just as dumb as all the current dickwaving.
No home console has the power of a modern gaming PC. That'll hold true with the 360² and PS4 too.
It could even be as dangerous as discussing the contents of a book you haven't read.
Yes. Absolutely. I love stylised graphics. And not just because I think they look better, but they have better longevity too.
Awww, this means I need to wait until March 2014 for the inevitable PC version. And then another year for the DLC.
Star Wars is one of the most lucrative franchises in entertainment history, deeply loved by tens of millions of people worldwide. I'd have serious concerns about anyone who DIDN'T think twice about taking on that kind of responsibility. You'd have to be insane to just jump right in.
You know that television, monitor or screen you're looking through to play the game?
Sure. And Skyrim is basically a Call of Duty knock-off with some 'fantasy' elements added.
It honestly isn't much worse than any other online game. Just like with every other competitive team game, a small minority of players simply don't understand how to act properly around other people. They troll, rage, curse and generally act like children. They're absolutely in the minority. Like the announcement…
Riot are setting up a professional league for their game. Players will be under contract, making them technically employees of Riot.
What they actually need to add is a tutorial mode, so I don't have to trawl the internet reading guides, desperately trying to find out how the fuck to even control the game.
Well played, Christ... well played...
Tough question!
It's slightly less inevitable now that Generation 5 gave us TWO cash-in titles!
Of course it hasn't! Nothing has been shown!
You might have to jump through a few hoops like installing Windows if it comes with Linux, but... you *would* be able to buy and play almost every game on Steam. It's not a completely false statement at all.
If Valve are really planning to use Linux in their Steam Box (honestly, why isn't it called Steam Engine?!) then I'd expect them to start offering to help developers port games over.
