Replace 'childrens show' with 'video game'.
Shrink down the old tech, make it cheaper to produce, slap it in a shiny new box and sell it at a tidy profit as a budget system. It worked for Sony when they did the PSOne and it's worked for Nintendo before with the various GameBoy models (Micro especially).
The cutting and editing is what made that trilogy a very good adaptation. If every scene, character and line of dialogue was kept from the books, the movies would have been completely terrible. Also, there would've been at least eight of them.
What else did you expect from Nintendo? They don't care about graphics, they don't care about being the most powerful machine on the market. They care about making good games and discovering better ways to play them. It's why I love them.
Top class troll bait, Sir. A statement that ignorant has angered plenty.
It's really hard for the 'Nintendo Audience' to buy anything other than family friendly titles because, well, damn near everything that exists on the Wii is family friendly.
Can't call it a smear campaign if every word is true.
Sounds like the Gamecube, but less mournful.
That's a tall order. I don't think the extended universe even manages to coincide with itself.
Portal 2: It's the same game as before, but now with paint! Valve are the best, always being so creative, I'll pay full price for this!
Oh the shit was always there, it was just hidden. In between Mass Effect and Dragon Age: Origins - their last two 'proper' RPGs and both very flawed games - they released the truly abysmal Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood.

Even Microsoft's brand new SmartGlass thing is, essentially, just an updated version of something Nintendo already tried a decade ago with the GC-GBA link cable, and again with the Wii-DS link.
Nintendo didn't abandon their fans. Publishers abandoned Nintendo after the Gamecube.
"Additionally on the hardware side, their strange penchant for moronic gimmicks to drawn in even more casuals has been irritating."
No. It's cross. Just like it's circle rather than O.
There's a lot of champions and interactions to learn if you want to play the game at a high level, that's true. In a single draft match there's ten different champions, each of which have between five and eight abilities and two summoner spells. That's a lot to learn! But that's the stuff you need to learn to play the…
If I put my mother in front of a Starcraft II stream, nothing would make any sense. Even with the help of good shoutcasting, she'd just see indistinct swarms of things moving around until one of the swarms is bigger than the other swarm and a few things explode. You really need the knowledge that comes from playing…
