Never realized it or never lighten up??? Personally I would go with never lighten up, that gives you a kind of Ahab like aura that make your tenacious grip on the lameness of this story seem much more tee shirt worthy :) If you went with never realized it that would just be sad :(
Umm, you do realize that "Clear History" is a comedy and the design of the name of the "Howard" are part of the joke don't you? The development and the marketing of the vehicle are a very small part of the story line which is centered on the the Larry David character some years later.
I always thought the original paint scheme, although iconic did't suit the lines of the Aston as well as some of the other cars that scheme has graced in the past. I think this new design works great with the modern body design as well as helping to visually absorb the numerous associate sponsor adverts that spoiled…

It looks more like these geniuses were trying to remove the large branch the chain/cable or some combination of the former was attached to.
Censorship rules regarding sex and violence were pretty strict in the forties so film makers were pretty limited as to how to depict these subjects.
Compared to Rally racing this stuff does get old pretty quick (to watch anyhow), I also like how easy it seems for the guy not drifting to keep up with the guy who is, just sayin.
