There are many laws that are not broken until...you do the thing that breaks them. If I look at a DVD and think “I could steal that” it’s not illegal. But once I steal, it’s a crime. The argument that she shouldn’t be guiltybecause it wasn’t a crime until he dies makes no sense. Nothing is a crime until it happens.

I think this depends on the state, from a strictly legal standpoint. From a moral standpoint, it should be illegal everywhere.

She’s not responsible for HIS actions. She’s responsible for hers. She could have stopped him from committing suicide at any time by making a simple phone call. Instead, she chose to pressure him and continue to pressure him when he had second thoughts. That’s on her.

That’s true. ED is not as simple as “I watched a TV show” and it is unfair to try and bboil it down to just that.
