Heh, I’m nowhere near Mass. I just game with some brothers from there, and I’ve always found it odd that they call everyone kid. I guess it’s just a thing up there.

Maybe you can explain to me what’s with refering to people as “kid” even if they’re like 40+ years old. I don’t get it. Is that a thing? Why is that a thing.

Pictured above, troll child with no life and nothing better to do.

Uhhuh. Grow up kid.

Well, if you can’t read between the lines then yeah... you are. Take a look at that development timeline and tell me where the singleplayer content is. I’ll wait.

Yeah, this has all been really disappointing. They got my hopes up and now it looks like it was a waste of money. That’s kickstarter though. Maybe I get something out of it, maybe I don’t. Even if I do get this though, PvP is not what I wanted. At all. Way to fuck it up assholes.

I wonder if you can take the HEAT rounds of a rocket launcher and put it in say... an LMG or AR. Hmmm...... SCIENCE!

Ugh... disgusting. I’d rather they used a fork of VBA packaged w/ the GBA rom instead. The fact that they’re pushing that putrid garbage is troubling...

Eh. I guess playing a few anime styled JRPGs got me used to it. The characters on either side with a text box in the lower middle is just kinda a thing they do in those these days. And it’s still better than a novella in text box form.

What? That’s lame.

No, I think you proved that. I proved... not much of anything really. My desire to.... not be inundated with quest text?

Meh. Stories are subject to taste and this is about the presentation, not the quality/satisfaction of it. The way they presented the story in GW2 was nice.

I’ve been getting some replies saying that. If I weren’t invested in FFXIV at the moment, I’d be giving that a try.

It’s about 50/50. Some of the cutscenes have voice overs, the majority of the game doesn’t (in ARR/vanilla, I haven’t touched Heavensward content yet). Which is a shame really. I missed a majority of the story because my friends have ADHD.

Well, in GW2 there only really seems to be one “quest”, that being the story line. All the hearts you do are more like objectives than anything else really. They have no introduction/explanation, you just do it and get loot. Honestly, you could do the same for 90% of WoW’s quests too, they just didn’t.

I haven’t played ESO. It didn’t really interest me. I’d much rather have a coop version of an Elder Scrolls game. They had to compromise so much to make an MMO from what I’ve seen/heard. Voice acting in an MMO, if you did all of it, would probably be prohibitively expensive. And the game would be like 200GB.

Eh, I’ve actually been playing XIV and just recently hit 50. It’s still just a bunch of text. I will concede that they’re much more pleasantly presented. WoW’s giant boxes of infinite text make me queasy :(.

MMOs just need to do this... GW2 did it and it was fantastic. I actually read/watched/cared about the story. Textwalls are no bueno. Quit it devs.

I’ve played a few bot games and some ARAM. 70 ping rock solid. Halleluja, praise the Jesus. Really satisfied w/ the move so far, and for me it seems to have gone off without a hitch.

Oh, how could I forget Hatsune Miku. Now with more boobs.
