I love FF6, possibly my favorite FF. But let's not pretend it was released in a perfect state either, and at the time there was no way to patch things. Most glitches were minimal or required some weird combinations to trigger, but some of the bugs were rather large/potentially gamebreaking.

Yeah, it came out screwed up but at least those folks got the game to read their facial data. Polygon's Owen Good couldn't even get the thing to work for him.

I was on the fence about this year's version... until this. Absolute purchase now.

You're missing the point that the base cost of your rent when you first signed your lease was chosen to allow the landlord to make a profit on your living space with an amortized estimate of the average cost in maintenance to the property. You are, without question, paying significantly more per sqft*quality of living

Yup, in a game with Demons and magic, the unrealism of the dodge-roll is the thing that really doesn't make sense. It's "Dark Souls", not "Sword Simulator Deluxe".

Cayde-6 : Cryptarch, I am consistently seeing guardians being disheartened and breaking apart rare weapons. They report that they originated from legendary engrams? How is that possible?

Cryptarch: I am sure the mysteries of the technologies of the past are ...

Cayde-6: Shut the fuck up , Richard, you've been using your

The Magitek Armor in XIV has a SOUL though. It's practically ALIVE!

Considering I got kind of emotionally attached to the Magitek Armor in XIV, despite how late in the storyline everything having to do with it showed up... yeah. We're all gonna be hugging the car.

This counts as nightmare fuel? Hah, then you guys are wusses.

I'll pass thanks.

Unless the collectors editions comes with a pack of tampons - because this game will turn me into a giant pussy.

Great thanks for posting this at night gonna go have nightmares about that puking decapitated head now.

I think this faster paced combat might actually make me want to pick up a "Souls" type of game again. I tried Demon Souls for a couple of hours a few years ago but the slow movement just wasn't my style.

The handrail in the elevator has also expressed regret for its involvement.

Fuck. That.

We live in a Capitalistic society (for better or worse, depends on the day) and the core tenet of that philosophy is that one's time, effort and work IS WORTH monetary compensation. Being "paid" in "exposure" is a cheap way of saying "make me things for free from which I shall profit, and you shall not

I think there's something missing from this discussion- JRPG's don't have to be cinema. They don't have to be Hollywood. They sure as hell don't have to be set in some sort of futuristic setting.
What so many of us long for and pine after is a return to the simple joys of escaping reality by visiting mysterious ancient

And from the looks of it, they probably all go to school here:

Is this the same guy who did the sponge bob thing? Seriously, did you guys lose a bet?

The problem with Nuclear Fission is the waste, actually. That crap doesn't decay for an eternity.

And earthquakes and tornados would be so much more exciting, too!

Thanks for sharing, Evan. This looks like a lot of fun, and the arcade cabinet looks totally great!
