Huh? Square has always packaged demo's with other games why does this come as a surprise to you. The demo isn't being sold separately maybe by some people on ebay but that's irrelevant.

Things don't exist in a way just because you say so. You have to take this at face value, it is in fact a demo bundled with a new game that is still at the typical price for a new game. Just because you either don't like type-0 or feel the game doesn't have value doesn't mean the demo wasn't free.

Well that's the thong about these souls games, the game never actually is cheating you, but you die ALOT, its one of the few games that forces you to learn from your mistakes rather than brute forcing it. With that said, I gave up too much aggravation, but if your the go getter never quits type I say give it a try

Just thought I'd add that FF9 was my favorite also but 13 ended up being a lost opportunity. Interesting lore, all the characters had the right motivations, but the story fell flat because of bad story telling Square was too focused on advancing the plot as opposed to expanding on it.

Character development was absent in only two characters in 12, Vaan and Penelo. Neither existed to further the story or serve any purpose. There were technical reasons for not makin it backwards compatible, doing so would have made it prohibitively expensive. Remember the PS4 doesn't use the same architecture as the PS3. The PS4 is much more like a midtier dedicated gaming PC, the PS4 would have required a significantly more expensive parts to emulate…

but it's a demo, I'm not sure why anyone expected perfection out of a demo. As I said if the finished product had those frame rate drops I'd be extremely dissappointed

I enjoyed Gran Pulse a bit it reminded me of when I reached the Calm Lands in FFX. Unfortunately the nostalgia trip ended there when I found out the only real side quest was hunting down the undying =\.
