The DS is a cash cow for Nintendo they make money on hardware and software, they have nothing to gain and everything to lose by releasing on Android and iPhone. I believe mobile phone games have their place but to abandon the DS would be to shoot themselves in the foot and lose a revenue source in exchange for what?
