No sane company would fire anyone because of a tweet like that. You would maybe, if the company is really control freaky, get someone from HR telling you not to post stuff…

so yes, her comment was unprofessional and she was a bit of a jerk, but what happened later was atomic-bomb-scale out of proportion. And the fact that some random shitheads can make a fuss big enough to convince a game company to fire some of their devs is scary and just highlights that ArenaNet is probably a shitty…

the lynch mob is obviously wrong and ArenaNet reaction is downright despicable, but the guy was honestly only partecipating to the thread, she completely overreacted... and sadly opened the flank to the shitpeople (I call them this way and yup I’m a dev as well)

I think E3 is always a lot of fun, it’s gamers’ christmas. it’s the consumer side to the GDC and we still need something like that.
